Blade sides are usually hanging signs that drop over a walkway. They are traditionally flat, but they do not have to be, and they should be visible with the flow of traffic from the street or sidewalk. They get their name because of the way they look projected over the walkway – like a blade. They can be connected to poles, rods, or other custom mounts.
